About the workshop:
This workshop is designed to dive deeper into what makes a good story for performance. Students will come to class with a story in mind, and in addition to group instruction, everyone will have the opportunity to get up in front of the class for 10 minutes of one-on-one coaching.
Each Tell Me A Story workshop will focus on a specific element of storytelling for performance. Take one class or take them all. February's class is all about the SET-UP.
* How do you pull the audience in with a strong opening?
* How do you achieve an instant performer-audience connection?
* What is the action within your story that can grab the audience and bring your performance to the next level?
Note: A pre-requisite worksheet will be sent via email one week prior to the class.
