The concert program will begin promptly at 4:30 p.m.

How much are tickets at the gate on day of the event?

Accepted Answer

General admission tickets on the day of the event will be sold at the gate for $30.

Where do I park? How much does parking cost?

Accepted Answer

Preferred Parking passes are $10 and allow you to park on the grounds. Upon arrival show e-ticket on phone or device. General Parking is free and located at Pearland High School, 3775 S. Main Street. Follow the pedestrian walkway signs towards Pearland Parkway to access the park.

Can I re-enter the park if I have to leave for something?

Accepted Answer

No re-entry is permitted. Once you've entered the park you should plan to remain for the duration of the event, unless you have to leave due to other plans.

When will the TVs be raffled off?

Accepted Answer

Due to the logistics of transporting the TVs, they were raffled off prior to the event of the Tejano Super Jam Facebook page.

Where do I walk if I park @ Pearland High School?

Accepted Answer

From Pearland High School, proceed along pedestrian walkways (on either Oiler Driver or No Name Road from PHS Searcy Building) toward Pearland Parkway. Proceed north onto Pearland Parkway and enter through the main entrance at Independence Park.

Where is Handicapped Parking?

Accepted Answer

Accessible parking is located onsite at Independence Park, 3919 Liberty Drive. VEHICES MUST ENTER THE PARK FROM LIBERTY DRIVE. Access from John Lizer Rd. will not be possible due to the road's closure. Accessible parking will only be provided to vehicles with handicap placards on first come basis.

Can I bring my own water bottle to the event?

No bottles or outside beverages are allowed.

What should I bring to the event?

Accepted Answer

You, your family and your friends! And don’t forget a chair or blanket, sunscreen, a personal sized umbrella and bug spray! Large tents, pop-up canopies, and oversized umbrellas are prohibited. Although you don’t have to spend any money at this event to have fun, we will have vendors.

Can I bring a pop-up or shade canopy?

Accepted Answer

No, guests are not permitted to bring pop-up tents, canopies, oversized umbrellas or any other shade structure that is meant to be staked or anchored to the ground. Hand held, personal umbrellas are allowed.

Yes.

Can I bring a cooler with food and drinks?

Accepted Answer

No outside food and beverages are allowed. Glass containers are prohibited.

We will have beverages (alcohol and soft drinks) and numerous food trucks selling a variety of tasty treats for your convenience!

Can I bring my pet?

For the health and safety of all our guests and for the consideration of all pets, we ask that you please do not bring your pets (of course, service dogs in harness are welcome). As a reminder, the dog park at Independence Park will be closed all day on August 4 and will reopen the following day.

Can I drive my golf cart, utility vehicle, or other motorized vehicle (hover board, electric scooter

Accepted Answer

No. For the safety of event guests, personal motorized vehicles, such as golf carts and utility vehicles are not allowed inside the park.

Can I bring non-motorized vehicles (wheel chairs, etc)?

Accepted Answer

Of course! Non-motorized vehicles such as wheelchairs and strollers are always welcome.

Question 18

How do I volunteer to work at the event and what is involved?

Accepted Answer

In addition to our staff, we depend on volunteers to make the event successful! If you are interested in volunteering and are above 16 years old, pls send us a FB messenger with your info. All roles are active and outdoors, and will require standing and walking and some lifting. We will reach out.
