So what is Steampunk?
- Steampunk refers to a story that explores what it would look like if the future had happened sooner, such as if technology advanced without modern electronics and society had advanced without social justice. It is usually set in a European Victorian-era-like alternate history or world.
- Steampunk is a crossover genre. It often explores the same themes as Science Fiction and can include realistic ideas of steam-driven or clockwork technology, but also includes impossible elements or magic like Fantasy.
All Library classes are free and all supplies are provided.
