Event description
In conjunction with Jacolby Satterwhite: Room for Living, FWM invites teens from across the city to participate in an art-filled evening.

About this Event

“What I found in the material of my body is that I owned it. I owned my past and I owned my mythology. You can’t apologize for your past, because you are your past.” -Jacolby Satterwhite

In conjunction with Satterwhite’s current exhibition, Room for Living, FWM invites teens from across the city to participate in an art-filled evening exploring what it means to define your own mythology. After an exhibition tour led by FWM high school apprentices, contemplate what “Room for Living” means to you. Enjoy an evening with friends and room to create, discovering the possibilities of screen printing, costume construction, and a live green screen to transport you across time and space.

Please note: Jacolby Satterwhite: Room for Living presents work with mature content related to expressions of human sexuality. Educators and families bringing youth should preview the exhibition before visiting with younger viewers.
