The Teen Mental Health Committee is a space for mental health advocacy fueled by highschoolers for highschoolers. In order to come up with effective, likeable, and practical solutions to support teen mental health, teens need to be a part of the conversation. Only teens know what everyday life is like at school, what stresses they deal with, and how technology has changed social and educational interactions. If you are a 9-12th grader who has insights, thoughts, or concerns come and empower yourself to take positive actions in your schools and communities.
Meetings will be held monthly and 9-12th grade students may attend. Students from all schools are welcome. Participants earn credit for community service hours. Please join us!
Parents, counselors, coaches and other adults who work with teens, please let your teen know about this important opportunity. Download a flyer to post at your location.
