Altruism (altro͞oˌizəm), n. the belief in or practice of disinterested and selfless concern for the well-being of others.
The UCLA Healthy Campus Initiative invites you to attend a TEDxUCLA Salon exploring Altruism – what it is, and why we want more of it. This TED salon will integrate TEDx talks on the subject of altruism, lively discussion, and refreshments.

Following the TEDxUCLA Salon, seven astounding UCLA students, staff, faculty, and alumni will be inducted to the inaugural 2018 class of the UCLA Eudaimonia Society in recognition of living lives rich in meaning and purpose.
