Conference and Workshop
December 10, 2014, 10:30 – 3:00 pm
24 Cleveland Street
Greenville, South Carolina
TEDx organizer workshops, hosted and attended by TEDx organizers, provide an opportunity for those who have organized a TEDx event to come together to discuss best practices and strategies for the TEDx program in their region and community.
Last year, TEDxGreenville hosted such an event, which followed a successful event sponsored by TEDxCharlotte. The workshop built regional relationships, and allowed organizers to compare notes and share ideas which improved TEDx conferences throughout the region.
The conference will be preceded by a TEDxGreenvilleSalon event at 6:30 on December 9 on “Gratitude.”
TEDx Organizers, Curators, and Planning Team Members
- The workshop begins at 10:30, allowing attendees to travel from other locations. We have secured special hotel rates for those who would like to attend the TEDxGreenvilleSalon event the evening before, or for those who would like to enjoy Greenville hospitality Wednesday night.
- Workshop to end at 3:00pm, however, an optional dinner invitation will be available to allow participants to form stronger connections, enjoy our community, and relax in a new place.
The small fee of $25 is used to pay for lunch, refreshments, and workshop materials.

When & Where
TEDxGreenville was the first independently organized TEDx event in South Carolina. It all started in 2010 when a diverse, passionate group of TED enthusiasts from around the community came together with the singular goal of bringing an educational and inspirational TED-like experience to Upstate residents.
The TEDx Program is designed to help communities, organizations and individuals to spark conversation and connection through local TED-like experiences.
TEDx events are planned and coordinated independently, under a free license granted by TED.
Now in its eighth year, the TEDxGreenville movement ignites passions and builds bridges like never before, while highlighting the incredible people and organizations that make the Upstate of South Carolina one of the best places to live on the planet. Yep, we said it. Drop the mic.
