About TEDx
TED is a nonprofit devoted to ideas worth spreading. TED believes passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives, and ultimately, the world. To this end, it hosts annual conferences exploring many of the issues facing our world.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading,
TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These events are branded TEDx, where x=independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.

About MCDM
The University of Washington’s Master of Communication in Digital Media (MCDM) gives professionals the necessary tools to understand the fast changing world of media technology and distribution. The MCDM works with students to develop sound strategies on how to communicate with influence and persuasion in this “noisy” digital age, share best practices as to how to assess and measure what constitutes successful communication, and provides their students the context and analytical skills to grasp the big picture of technology and communication, and provide strategic leadership based on these key insights. These defined MCDM strategic competencies, combined with our dynamic faculty and rich community partnerships, attract students from across disciplines and from all corners of the world.

About Adapt International
