TEDxManhattan Viewing Party
Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (EST)
TEDxGreenville is hosting a viewing party for TEDxManhattan “Changing the Way We Eat”. Speakers with various backgrounds in food and farming will share their insights and expertise. And, hopefully, we’ll have a few surprises during the day. A highlight of the event is the ample time given for attendees to meet each other and look for new synergies and new ideas to help bolster the sustainable food movement.
An overview of the program is below.
While the event is free, please register so we know how many refreshments to order and how many seats to set up. You may choose to come to all of the day or just the parts you are most interested in attending.

When & Where
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxGreenville, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxGreenville event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
