Tickets for our inaugural TEDxIndianapolisWomen event are SOLD OUT.

On November 29, 2018 from 9am-4pm at The Center | The Heritage Group, attendees of TEDxIndianapolisWomen will parttake in the theme of SHOWING UP: a celebration of empowerment, diversity and embracing the knowledge and power women share every day with the community, their profession and their family.

Speakers who are “Showing Up” include:

• Claudia Angeli, research, technology

• Tamika Catchings, inspiration, business

• Tapati Dutta, life story, research

• Molly Ford, equality, technology

• Melissa Spitz, storytelling, photography

Many of the talks will address topics such as research, inspiration, equality, technology and life stories. Talks will be 15 minutes or less in length.

Led by co-organizers Chris Carpenter and Neelay Bhatt and Executive Producer, Rachel Zajac, with the incredible support of partners, sponsors, and volunteers, this inaugural event will feature live speakers, unique performances, streaming videos and interactive activities from the TED Women event in Palm Springs, California. Combined, these experiences spark deep discussion and meaningful connections to build an idea-focused community in Indy.

TEDx events are independently organized and licensed by TED. The TEDx program was launched in 2009 and consists of locally organized events that bring the community together to share a TED-like experience. Some of the best talks from TEDx events have gone on to be featured on TED.com and garnered millions of views from audiences across the globe.
