Event description

Description

The Respondent has gone mobile!
We now offer Teddy Bear First Aid (educational class) for children ages 5 to 6 and ages 7 to 10, ACROSS CANADA!

These classes will run side by side and have similar program structure, nevertheless, ages seven to ten will have a more in-depth learning experience and have their own instructor. CPR is not in the curriculum.
Your children will learn basic first aid skills that will allow them to remain calm and be proactive during an emergency. As previously mentioned, both age groups; four to six and seven to ten follow a similar program structure, nevertheless, ages seven to ten will have a more in-depth learning experience. Children will learn about a first aid kit, what goes into one and how to use the supplies. They will learn about scene safety, how to identify and treat a cut/scrape/bleeding (small & large), how to identify and stabilize a broken arm/wrist, how to identify burns, how to check for breathing and a pulse (No CPR), how to identify a 911 emergency and how to respond.
