Public speaking can be stressful and scary, so it is not surprising that many people avoid it. The problem is that this does nothing for their confidence, career and ability to win support for their good ideas.
But if you’re ready to learn the techniques used by TED speakers and are willing to do some practice, you will become a highly effective public speaker.
I’m looking for a max of 10 people to join me to take a big step forward as a speaker.
You’ll discover the most important things I have learnt as a professional speechwriter, TEDx Speaker Coach and member of public speaking clubs for over 10 years.
Like dancing, singing or knitting, public speaking is a practical skill - so be prepared to practice your public speaking. You will get opportunities to practice applying the methods you will be learning.
You’ll have the support of fellow TED fans and you will love the positive, encouraging environment. It’s a great opportunity to practice and get the expert, encouraging feedback we all need to develop.
Lunch is not provided so bring your own food or visit the excellent onsite Cafe.
Places on the course are limited to 10, so book early to secure your place.
Join us to take a big step towards becoming a more confident and TED-like public speaker.
