Event description

Description

TechWomen friends, we want to see you! Before we know it, the Emerging Leaders will be here and the fall program will be upon us. Let's reconnect over food and drinks with an inspiring message around owning your voice, being a leader and cultivating leaders.

This will be a fabulous event to introduce a friend or colleague to the TechWomen community. The timing is perfect because the mentor application opens June 8.

In many ways, the TechWomen program is an opportunity for both mentors and mentees to own their power and work together to develop as leaders. To harness this energy, TechWomen and Madison Reed present, "Own Your Power", an evening focused on our individual and collective strength as we build momentum for this year's TechWomen cohort.

Please join us at 6:00pm for mingling, light appetizers and drinks. Following the networking hour, we will hear from our speaker for the night, Amy Errett, the CEO and Co-founder of Madison Reed.

About "Own Your Power"

This event is a special edition of Madison Reed's "Own Your Beauty" speaker series. We are excited to partner with Madison Reed for this opportunity to engage in discussion around “Owning Your Power”, specifically for TechWomen.

Through this speaker series, great women come together to hear from confident and inspirational women - empowering them to shatter glass ceilings, find their genius, and live the life that fulfills them.

These are women in their element, doing their thing, living the best version of themselves, and thriving. They have the courage to carve their own path and seek out what satisfies them. They innately know that they are deserving and capable of greatness. A consequence of this is that they aren’t afraid to express themselves in all aspects of their life.

They are makers, doers, founders, and creators. They don’t settle. They make change. They are women who get things done and believe in doing things themselves because their time is invaluable. Simply put, they are an inspiration.
