Event description

Description

Techtonica is a nonprofit that partners with tech companies to provide free tech training, living & childcare stipends, and job placement to local, low-income women and non-binary femme adults.

This workshop is also Step 1 of our student application process for the full-time Apprenticeship Program. Students interested in Techtonica's Apprenticeship Progam will have the opportunity to learn more at the event.

At the workshop, you will learn basic HTML & CSS, present a simple coding project, and share your work with other participants.

Snacks and laptops will be provided (but if you have one, feel free to bring it). We will be taking photos at the event. If you need to not be included in the photos for some reason, please let us know at the event.

If you need childcare, please book a ticket for each child and let us know their ages and special needs by clicking on the "Contact" link on this page.

There will be photography and videography at this event. By registering, you give Techtonica permission to use images or videos that may include you. You will be asked to sign a media release at the beginning of the workshop.

Please fill out this interest form before registering for the workshop.

Thank you to npm for hosting us!
