It is a weekend-long event where aspiring social innovators and problem-solvers come together to pitch, form teams, and launch startups within a 54-hour timeframe. The event is designed to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for aspiring tech for good entrepreneurs.

Who can participate?

The event is open to everyone, regardless of background, experience, or skill level. We especially encourage social impact driven individuals to join and learn how  to use tech to solve social problems

Do I need to have a business idea to participate?

Accepted Answer

No, you don't need to have a business idea, you can join a team. Participants with ideas will have an opportunity to pitch their ideas during the event, and teams will form around the most promising ones.

What do I need?

Accepted Answer

You will need to join Zoom and Slack for the weekend and join us at LinkedIn on Friday if you can. Be present, an open mind, and a willingness to collaborate and learn.

What is the format of the event?

Accepted Answer

The event kicks off on Friday evening with participant pitches, team formation, and initial brainstorming. Saturday is dedicated to building and validating your startup idea, while Sunday is focused on refining and pitching your final pitch deck to a panel of judges.

What kind of support will I receive during the event?

Accepted Answer

You'll have access to a team of experienced mentors and coaches throughout the weekend, who will provide guidance and support as you develop your startup idea.

In addition to the opportunity to launch a startup in just one weekend, you'll have the chance to network with like-minded individuals, learn from experienced mentors, workshops and gain valuable skills and knowledge to take with you on your entrepreneurial journey. And some prizes are available!

Do I need to attend all 3 days?

While we highly recommend attending all 3 days to fully benefit from the event, we also welcome attendees to join us on Sunday for the final pitches. This is a great opportunity to see what the teams have accomplished over the weekend and network with other members of the startup community.
