Startup Campus is bringing Techstars Startup Weekend to Budapest, as an online event!

Bring an idea or offer your skills to help someone else's to kick-off. Form a team with like-minded innovators, receive feedback from experienced startup mentors, listen to no-fluff webinars on business models and presenting, and by the end of the 3-day event, you will have a pitch ready for the jury, and possibly an opportunity to launch your newly developed startup. The best projects can even qualify for the spring incubation programmes of Startup Campus.

Who should join Startup Weekend Budapest?

Anyone with or without a startup idea, who would like to experience an intense 54-hour event of brainstorming, business plan development and pitching. Besides the benefits of learning and networking, Startup Weekend has also an impressive track record of startups that started out from these events. Who knows, maybe your team will launch the next Zapier, Agenda Edu or Inui Health?

What to expect?

After registering on Eventbrite, you will receive a Google Form where you can submit your startup idea. If you don't have an idea yet, don't worry! You can still submit it on 9 April at the beginning of the event, and you are also welcome to come without an idea and join a team.

On Friday, those who submitted an idea will pitch them for the participants, who then will vote which ideas should be further developed during the weekent.

From Friday to Saturday mid-day, teams will form and during Saturday afternoon, you will receive help from our mentors.

On Sunday morning, you will work on your pitch deck with the help of our pitch trainter. The teams will present their startup ideas in the afternoon, at the Virtual Demo Day.

About Techstars Startup Weekend: a 54-hour event designed to provide superior experiential education for technical and non-technical entrepreneurs.

Beginning with Friday night pitches and continuing through brainstorming, business plan development, and basic prototype creation, Techstars Startup Weekends culminate in Sunday night demos and presentations.

Terms of Participation Agreement: It is our job to provide you with an incredible networking and learning experience. Our intention is that you meet some amazing people that you might start a company with, learn from mentors as well as learning from your peers. The event is intended to be a collaborative forum for sharing, learning, building, and having fun. As such, by registering as a participant, you acknowledge that any ideas shared by you or anyone else over the course of the event are contributions to the overall experience and community. If you’re very concerned, you can limit your pitch to the rough outline of the idea without giving away key information.

As a member of your startup community, you agree to be inclusive of any and all people and their ideas. You agree to act professionally, treat everyone with respect, and treat the event facilities with proper care. You agree that you are responsible in the event of any accidents or damages that you cause. You also agree to not hold Techstars Startup Weekend, your local volunteer team, or any of the event supporters liable for any loss, damage, injury, or any other unforeseeable incident.

By participating in the event, you grant Techstars Startup Weekend permission to capture photos/videos of the event. You can find the full legal terms on our Communities Page, but to summarize, we want to share your success with the world.
