Event description

Description

Making women feel safer while they travel. Identifying and removing invasive plant species. Making sure that projects that get started by NGOs in high-need communities also get finished. Using AI image recognition tools to help identify drug abuse. Saving Khmer poetry from being lost to time.

These are the problems girls care about in 2019. Come meet the amazing young women solving these problems – and other equally challening ones – at World Pitch 2019.

Every year, Technovation invites girls ages 10-18 from all over the world to pick a problem they encounter every day – and then build a mobile app and business to solve it. The top twelve teams from around the world will be sharing their tech business ideas with a panel of industry judges on August 15, 2019.

Come hear what they have to say.

Doors open at 5:00pm and program will start at 6:00pm.

Keynote Speaker:

Justine Sass, Chief, Section of Education for Inclusion and Gender Equality at UNESCO
