This workshop is for participants in the Technovation Challenge and is part of a series of workshops. This workshop introduces the Technovation Challenge and the MIT App Inventor tool — enough to give a sense of what coding is like. The workshop then guides teams through an ideation process to help teams generate and explore ideas for what their app might be about. Most of the material presented in this workshop is the same as last year's workshop.

This workshop is a duplicate of the Jan 12 workshop. Please register for only one of the Kickoff Ideation workshops.

These workshops are in high demand. If you register and your plans change, please cancel your ticket to allow someone else to attend.

Pre-requisites for the workshop: Girls should have formed their teams.

Food and water will be provided. Please indicate any dietary restrictions. Please do not send any nut-based snacks. We have participants with nut allergies.

Parking is available in the Shopify lot and in nearby Uptown Waterloo lots. Parking is free on weekends.
