Parents Place

Smartphones? Video Games? Parental Controls? With all of the technology that is in our children's lives, we as parents need help keeping up!

Technology surrounds us on a daily basis, and it is important for parents to know the impact technology is having on our children. SET Change is here to help parents understand these impacts, set parental controls, and utilize different options available to navigate this digital age.

In this workshop, parents will:

  • Learn research-based information about how technology impacts children.
  • Gain strategies to safeguard their child from physical and emotional harm.
  • Learn how to have conversations with their child surrounding technology and time management.
  • Begin creating family technology rules.

SET Change is here to help individuals and families find a balance with the use of technology in our lives while strengthening our social and emotional skills.https://setchange.org/

Please arrive early, the workshop starts at 6:30 pm sharp. Adults only, please.
