Women Only Workshop

Do you wish to submit technical proposals to conferences and improve your technical public speaking skills? We all have barriers that we need to overcome, especially for the first timers. Some key barriers include: technical know-how, idea-generation and follow-through, writing up the proposal and fear of public speaking.

This workshop goes over specific details and processes for submitting conference proposals and improving technical public speaking skills. Experienced speakers share their knowledge and a mentoring session will guide you for future proposal submission and technical speaking skills.

Please do sign up soon.  Space is limited for this event!

Participants:  Please come prepared with a list of ideas for proposals which can be reviewed and technically mentored at the workshop!

Event Parking Details:

People can park in any P, A, or C zone (those are only restricted on weekdays).

Parking Structure 1 is recommended. There is a parking lot directly behind Gates Building that people can park in, but it's not very large.
