Do you want to transform a child's dream into a reality? Join JCC Harlem and Repair the World at STEM Kid Inc.'s TechFest!
TechFest will entail teaching students about circuits and how to make them. They will be hand-sewing a stuffed toy and creating a soft circuit to make the toy light up. They will then extend their circuitry knowledge to make another toy or create a wearable accessory.
What will you do (these are jobs to choose from):
1. Set Up: Post directional signage within the building, Greet People who come into building, Cut out patterns from fabric, organize materials: LEDs, conductive thread, conductive material, coin batteries, organize snack table
2. Buddy with students to help them with making their product
3. Break Down
***Eventbrite says 10am-5pm, but there are volunteering shifts ranging from 1 hour - 4 hours
