TechConKona 2.0 Offers Innovative Tech and Sustainability Tools, Ideas, and Resources
TechConKona, a high impact, must-attend one-day conference is the only event of its kind in Kona blending sustainability with technology. You'll get ideas, valuable digital marketing skills, contacts, connections and you'll be part of the solutions in making Hawaii an amazing place to call home.
Join us on Saturday November 2nd at the NELHA Gateway Center from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. A fundraising pau hana will follow from 4-6:30 pm.
The first part of the day will cover sustainability with presenters discussing what business owners can be doing to not only lessen thier impact on the island, but tools and ideas to have a GREATER local positive impact on the planet and people to drive profits. A panel discussion with audience input will bring energy into a networking lunch time.

The second part of the day will focus on business technology solutions. Get affordable tools and resources that you can implement immediately. Get ideas and information to turn your fans and followers into loyal customers, learn about search engine optimization, digital content marketing and AFFORDABLE ideas that work. We will also show you how to use cloud technology and mobile apps to be more productive to do away with paper and start saving space and money.
The day will end with a fun networking pau hana where attendees will meet with exhibitors, speakers and business professionals. A portion of the proceeds of the event tickets and any donations provided during the pau hana will go towards the Guy Toyama Memorial Fund for scholarships for students who are focusing on sustainability careers.

TechConKona was originally created in 2012 to help small business owners understand how to harness the power of the web in their marketing mix. TechConKona 2.0 is being held to bring even more tools and ideas to business owners and will further encompass the ideals of sustainability and thinking, buying and hiring local.
TechConKona is also being managed by the Waikoloa Community Development Corporation and is partially funded by a grant from the County of Hawaii's Research and Development Department.
