Event description

Description

Please join us for a panel discussion at the Honor headquarters on innovative technological interventions that help us feel safe and supported. Our panelists include a diverse representation of women and job functions across the sector and each will speak about their innovative work developing technologies helping us be safe.

Panelists:

Sandy Jen, Co-Founder, Honor

Honor’s mission is to help more people live safely at home as they age. What makes Honor stand out is its mobile app: families can communicate with their assigned professional caregiver, can check care notes on their client in advance, and ask questions on the platform.

Liz Lee - Founder, Executive Director, Online SOS

OnlineSOS empowers people facing online harassment. Online SOS is a safe place where people can find tools, information and, above all, empowerment, in the face of online harassment

Jaime-Alexis Fowler, Founder, Empower Work

Empower Work provides immediate, confidential support for tough work issues via SMS. Anyone in the U.S. can connect with a trained peer counselor to feel heard, supported, and if needed, connected to additional resources, so they can take a next step that works for them.

Erica Johnson, Co-Founder, Modern Health

Modern Health is on a mission to change how people think about mental health. There is no one size fits all solution for mental health, and that’s why Modern Health covers the modern employee’s every personal and professional need through both evidence-based technology and professional support from a coach or therapist.
