Event Details

The Republic of Korea is the most wired country in the world!

South Korea has 82.7% Internet penetration.

While Korean women are often seen as aggressive shopkeepers and as owners of small business and bars, paradoxically, they are not seen as effective managers and leaders. Among Koreans in their 20s, the rate of economic participation by Korean women was 62.9 percent in 2012, surpassing that of Korean men for the first time, according to government data. There have always been examples of Korean women wielding power, women who are considered "exceptional," but often invisible, famous for a day and quickly forgotten.

“What’s most important for South Korea now is creating an environment for more [Korean] women to join and stay in the workforce given the fast-aging population,” said Kwon Goohoon, an economist in Seoul at Goldman Sachs Group.

Must be able to show documentation to identify nonimmimgrant status such as B-1, F-1, or J-1.

NOTE: Tech training includes onlne courses both sefl-paced and "watch and learn" group sessions. Please bring your Apple Notebook or Windows PC.
