David Doney, managing partner of Akerman LLP’s Tampa office, will discuss the opportunities and risks for small businesses considering a crowdfunding transaction.
Doney’s practice is concentrated in the corporate and securities law areas and principally involves mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities financings, corporate governance, Securities Exchange Act reporting and compliance matters, and other complex business transactions. He has focused his efforts on providing efficient and sophisticated legal services to established public companies, privately held companies with significant growth potential, and sources of capital.
