About this Event

We take the health and safety of our members and all of those in the tech ecosystem very seriously. Given that concern, we are in the process of reviewing each of our March and April programs to determine whether to postpone it or offer it as a virtual event. We will communicate all decisions this week. In the meantime, registration is closed.

The Tech Runs Boston Community is meant to gather young tech professionals to share ideas and best practices, to network and connect with each other, and to learn, grow, and have fun as we take on the reins of our industry.

Join us for the kickoff event of this community as we engage in an interactive workshop and explore how building both your network, and your personal brand, can accelerate your career.

This workshop will be led by Nikhil Paul, an experienced crowd engagement expert. This fun and energizing learning experience is designed for attendees to have meaningful conversations, spark relationships with one another, leave with actionable insights and plant seeds for a strong MassTLC Tech Runs Boston Community.

Agenda:

5:00pm: Registration & Networking

5:30pm: Workshop Begins

6:30pm: Wrap-up & Networking

Bring a friend, colleague, or anyone interested in being a part of this community!

About the facilitator:

Nikhil Paul is a crowd engagement expert and a culture coach who founded We R Human to create engaging workshops and experiences around topics of team dynamics, emotional intelligence & employee engagement. Clients include Walmart, Venmo and AIG. His mission is to create a positive and an engaged work community from the ground up.

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW

Part I: Lay the Emotional Intelligence Foundation

The first part of the workshop focuses on learning practical communication & emotional intelligence skills to increase your self awareness and increase cooperation from your co-workers.

Part II: Attract Your Evangelists

This part of the workshop will explore the professional networks each employee should build for themselves within the company, including their mentors, their advocates and their accountability partners.

Part III: An Intrapreneur’s Guide To The Top

The last part of the workshop will outline the tactics and the processes that can help an employee advance their career and build their brand. By sifting through the data and the stories behind the people who have made it to the top, we will delineate the cardinal rules, the patterns and the strategic steps behind their professional ascent. The activity portion will encourage attendees to brainstorm their own gameplan, discuss its efficacy with their group and encourage attendees to make a commitment.

Refund requests will not be accepted within 7 days of the event.
