Introducing the Inaugural Event in CBIC’s TNT series...
Being Richard Branson: Leadership Beyond the Edge!
Thursday, March 6 @ Woolly Mammoth (formerly the Black Market Moto Saloon)
4:15 – 5:15 PM Panel Discussion
5:30 - 7:30 PM Afterhours Celebration
In thinking about the young Richard Branson’s future, his high school principal told him he would either become a millionaire businessman or become the leader of a criminal gang: Both require leadership and entrepreneurial talent. So what are the key attributes of authentic leadership and how can CBIC members hone their leadership skills?
In this inaugural Tech Night Takeover (TNT) event, our guest panelists, Dr. Grant Tate (The Bridge Ltd) and Col. Lettie Bien (Marketing and Business Development Consultant) will take on these issues in a lively interactive discussion moderated by Martin Chapman (President & CEO, Indoor Biotechnologies). Leadership is associated with passion, drive, determination to succeed, and strategic thinking. But many with passion fail and leaders often pursue failed strategies. What distinguishes success from failure? Do gender, race and cultural differences affect leadership? Do introverts and extroverts adopt different leadership styles? Come tell us and the experts what you think!
Join us for this open-mic Tech Night Takeover at 4:15pm on Thursday March 6th at Woolly Mammoth! “It’s going to be huge!” (Donald Trump, Leader or Populist?). Immediately following the panel discussion, stay for the happy hour social and networking event from 5:30-7:30pm, with craft beers, wine, hors d’oeuvres and member chatter!
