Following the success of previous Startup Asia 2014 conferences in Singapore, Tokyo, and then Jakarta - the most recent of which saw a record-breaking 2,202 participants - we are proud to present to you the 9th edition of our signature event in Singapore.
Due to be held in May 6 and 7 this year, Tech in Asia Singapore 2015 promises to be bigger, better, and crazier than ever, with more than 2,500 international attendees, popular initiatives like Speed Dating, Arena, and new ones like Investor Lounge and Night Crawl. Check out the highlights below:
Featuring intimate live one-on-one interviews with Asia’s most successful entrepreneurs and investors, the World Domination Stage will inspire and educate founders everywhere.
This parallel set of topics and speakers have only one purpose: to help startups kickstart their various company-building strategies. The Kickstart Stage features a full day of Market Expansion Tracks to 8 different countries in Asia, and another full day of How-Tos: user acquisition, pricing, data, SaaS.
Tech in Asia Singapore 2015 expects to showcase over 250 exciting startups this time round - more than twice the number that exhibited at Jakarta. All startups exhibiting are handpicked and curated from thousands of applicants across Asia.
The highlight of the conference, the final Arena battle is the culmination of a three month-long search across the entire Asian region for the top ten most promising startups. See these top ten in action as they pitch and answer questions from a panel of judges in front of a live audience. Watch out for the next big thing here.
We know that a conference doesn’t end at 6pm. We know that you want to continue meeting new people, making deals way into the night, over a good bunch of alcohol.
For the first time in Tech in Asia conference's history, we are presenting to you Night Crawl: a two-night fiesta of people and drinks, all for the making of business deals. From 6pm to 12 midnight, Tech in Asia Singapore will see an evening agenda of food and drinks in various bars and restaurants.
It’s tough for startups to identify and network with investors. At this conference, we’ve invited various local and regional investors to meet with startups in our exclusive Speed Dating session. Entrepreneurs have the opportunity to deliver their elevator pitch to to the right people, in hopes of developing a positive rapport with potential investors.
Office Hours is an outlet for startups to pursue partnerships opportunities. ‘Office Hour’ will connect startups with a variety of potential partners, ranging from incubators to large-scale traditional companies. Landing face-to-face meetings with these kinds of firms can be a challenge – get the ball rolling at ‘Office Hour.’
At Tech in Asia, we receive tons of pitches from companies to write about their products. But cold emails don't work as well as face-to-face meetings. At 'Meet The Media,' you get to meet and pitch your startup journey to Tech in Asia's editors and reporters.
