Teammates: Building Supportive Networks in Work and Life

Come join us at the Sheldon Kennedy Centre of Excellence for an event focused on the power of supportive networks.

Grief, stress, and the challenges of helping others can reshape the way we give and receive support. Teammates: Building Supportive Networks in Work and Life invites participants to pause, reflect, and strengthen the personal and professional connections that sustain them.

Through guided reflection, writing, and gentle group discussion, we’ll:

  • Explore the “team roles” that make up a healthy support network, both on and off the field.
  • Identify who currently fills these roles in our lives, where we might be missing key teammates, and how to invite new support with care and intention.
  • Consider how strengthening our own networks can enhance our capacity to support the children, students, and clients we work with.

This session offers a restorative space for professionals navigating adversity, compassion fatigue, or the everyday challenges of caregiving and advocacy, inviting renewed balance, clarity, and connection.
