About this event

Join us for our first ever Teaming Up! Glen Echo Nature Walk

October 1, 11am-1pm at Glen Echo Park

RAIN DATE October 2, 11am-1pm at Glen Echo Park

The Arc of DC and Integrated Living Opportunities (ILO) are Teaming Up! for a wonderfully fun nature walk through Glen Echo Park and an exciting Scavenger Hunt. Come join us for an afternoon of fun, community, and refreshments!

About

We are non-profits, it's a fundraiser, and we think you can help us raise some much-needed funds to help us support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities while we provide you with a very fun and rewarding couple of hours in a local neighborhood park. Our goal is $50,000 which will be split 50/50 by the two organizations (The Arc of DC and Integrated Living Opportunities).

We think you can help by asking only 5 people to sponsor your walk for $10 each! Of course, it would be incredible if you can get more than 5 sponsors, maybe 10? Or ask a couple of friends to join you on the walk.

  • Great for individuals, families, or teams- how about a family team?
  • Walk the entire 1-mile trail or walk as far as you can
  • Complete the scavenger hunt while checking out the Glen Echo Marketplace
  • Enjoy some light refreshments

Donate

Click on the orange Ticket button to donate or purchase tickets. Proceeds and donations will be split 50/50 between The Arc of DC and ILO, both of which are 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations.
