Start half marathon training sixteen weeks before your target race. Our first practice of the spring season will be on Sunday morning, January 22, at 8:00. Train with a certified USA Track & Field endurance and Road Runners Club of America long-distance running coach. Sunday morning practices will be held at the Torrey C. Brown/NCR Trail, Loch Raven Reservoir, and Canton Waterfront Park. Group training is fully supported with hydration stations on your training courses. Race entry fee is not included in your training registration fee.
Jack Beach is Team Persevere's head coach. Since 2006, Jack has coached hundreds of runners to successful race finishes. Jack is an experienced endurance runner who has completed twelve marathons and twenty-two half marathons including the Marine Corps Marathon three times and the New York City Marathon twice. Jack and Team Persevere provide unique training for long-distance runners. Team Persevere is committed not just to the physical, emotional, and mental elements of running but to you experiencing the spiritual element. The celebration of spirit, faith, and spirituality in our run training is what sets us apart from other training groups. You will train to run farther or faster "in rhythm."
