Join us at Hollibrook Elementary School, 3602 Hollister Road, on Saturday, May 21 from 8am to 1 pm for a morning focused on improving the health and wellness of our community.

Spring Branch Community Health Center (SBCHC) is organizing this family-friendly day of activities and education, and many business partners and community organizations will be on hand to offer free samples and information!

The goal of this event is to raise awareness and educate the public about how chronic health issues can be avoided through proper nutrition and regular exercise. Chronic disease disproportionately affects those in West Houston who lack the financial resources to access medical services.

Fortunately, these illnesses are the most preventable of all health problems! Events like the Annual Walk for Wellness help participants access free health education information that can lead to healthy behavioral changes.

Participants will walk the track for one mile. The fastest walkers will receive a grand prize and social media recognition after the event.
