Team Building & Employee Engagement (Managers)

The Team Building and Employee Engagement workshop focuses on the importance of each team member and the impact he or she has on overall team performance. In today’s competitive workplace, it is undeniable that people have to work together to achieve goals. It is not a “nice to have” but rather a core competency for businesses that wish to survive. To effectively manage a diverse work force and meet the demands of customers, productive team player thinking is imperative. This workshop delivers strategies and tactics that build team trust and fuse the talents of individual employees thus giving team members the real-world skills they need to achieve business goals.
Specifically, you will learn to:
- Lead teams based on the organization’s unique environment.
- Facilitate and resolve conflicts that happen within teams.
- Gain support and cooperation from team members.
- How to flex leadership style to encourage stronger team interaction.
- Recognize and deal with team members who cause tension.
- Encourage and role model principles that are beneficial for strong team thinking.
**There is a $90 materials and facilitation fee for this event which will be charged directly to the registrant's cost center. A Workshop fee will be incurred for all registration not canceled at least 72 hours before the workshop.
Facilitator Dan Desalvo delivers seminars, keynote addresses, and training programs to clients ranging from small businesses to major corporations. Dan’s extensive professional career includes positions as an account executive for Dale Carnegie Training and as executive vice president for Great American Seminars. Dan is also a professional mentor and trainer for Hofstra University’s Business Development Center.
