About this event
The Teal Table Talk Series is a 3 part series on unpacking sexual violence in Communities of Color (COC). The Teal Table Talk Series was developed in response to a continued increase of sexual within Black and Brown COC. the goal of the series are:
- Establish a shared definition of sexual assault and a foundation for exploring long-term strategies for ending sexual violence.
- Identify the urgent, unmet needs faced by individuals who are most impacted by sexual violence.
- Highlight the range and depth of work currently underway to address sexual violence locally

During this panel, panelists will establish a shared definition of sexual assault and a foundation for exploring long-term strategies for ending sexual violence. Panelist will also address why as communites of color sexual violence is not openly discussed.
