From tea’s colorful origins in China beginning in 2737BC to today, we’ll discuss early cultivation and consumption of the mystical drink hailed for its healing powers.  No other beverage has such a rich history.


Tea’s journey through the ages and across every continent reveals the development of new production methods, new cultural uses, even accepted myths and legends.

Conceived at the World Tea Expo in 2009, Teaity started out as a simple vision to help tea drinkers discover and prepare new teas with more nuance while expanding their palates.


Officially launched in October 2012,Teaity is dedicated to providing tools and resources to convert tea drinkers into educated tea enthusiasts. Tea enthusiasts are a valued target market.  They tend to have greater discretionary income and thereby are able to purchase higher margin product.
