IDSA San Francisco and California College of the Arts presents:
Teague: Design & Beauty Film Screening
Teague's is a story of a poor young farm boy who travels to New York City to become an artist, but ends up creating the new profession of industrial design that helps shape a modern America.
Walter Dorwin Teague is considered one of the founding fathers of industrial design as well as one of the most prolific American industrial designers in history. His most notable design work includes classic Kodak cameras, Texaco’s art deco gas stations, the Boeing Stratocruiser aircraft interiors, the elegant Sparton Radios, Steinway pianos, Steuben glassware, and many exhibits at the 1939 World’s Fair in New York.
Please join the IDSASF and CCA for the San Francisco screening of Teague
