Fri, Mar 31, 2017, 6:30 PM – Fri, Sep 15, 2017, 4:00 PM EDT
Dawn Miller, MA, C-IAYT and Rowan Silverberg, PhD(c), E-RYT 500 are happy to present this intensive year-long mentoring program (September 2017 to August 2018) for 12 individuals who have completed a 200-hr level training program and are ready to develop a high level of competence in using yogic practices to support individuals with a variety of health conditions.
Based on more than 40 years of combined experience in the health care field, Dawn and Rowan will provide extensive instruction and coaching to students in this program. Drawing on their expertise as seasoned professionals in medical, corporate, and academic settings, they have developed a model that integrates the multidimensional aspects of yoga in a comprehensive approach to well-being within the context of Western health care.
This program provides theoretical and practical knowledge that will enable participants to think critically as they develop a refined yet adaptable approach for working with individuals and groups. Participants will be supported in their exploration and application of this approach through case study presentations and practicum experience.
