Event description

Description

What makes a great LACE preceptor? Cognitive psychologists and neuroscientists have provided us with a large body of work on how humans learn; however, translating these ideas into teaching practice is no easy task, particularly in a busy clinical setting. Please join us for an interactive session on how to work with your students in the LACE program in ways that facilitate student learning.

At the end of this session, you will have:

  • Explored evidence based methods to support student learning

  • Developed methods and techniques to improve your LACE experience

  • Selected effective feedback tools and strategies

Who should attend? Anyone currently teaching in the LACE program or interested in teaching in the LACE program. Any faculty new to the LACE program are strongly advised to attend.

Hosted by the Office of Faculty Development and the Longitudinal Ambulatory Care Experience (LACE) program. For more information, please email Director Rosemary Tyrrell, Ed.D.
