Teaching Students to Use AI, Thoughtfully

Teaching Students to Use AI, Thoughtfully

By CATLR
Online event

Overview

Learn how educators from three different programs cultivate student capacity for thoughtful, responsible use of AI.

Join us for an Educator Exchange with Anne van De Ven-Moloney (College of Science), Stephanie Young (CSSH & Mills College), and Vance Ricks (CSSH & Khoury College) as they discuss how they cultivate student AI literacies. They will share the proficiencies they prioritize (e.g., critical evaluation, responsible use) and provide concrete examples of activities and assignments. Drawing from diverse disciplinary perspectives, they'll reflect on successes, challenges, and lessons learned in helping students develop their capacity for thoughtful decision-making about AI use (or non-use) in their studies, work, and daily life.

This session is only open to Northeastern University students, staff and educators. Please use your Northeastern email when registering.
