Event description

Description

Following the launch of Trinity’s Integrated Skills in English (ISE) exams in March 2017, and the first ISE exam entries in Hong Kong, we are pleased to announce a free workshop for teachers focusing on ISE Foundation and ISE I on the 28th September 2017. All event details can be found below. The workshop will provide teachers with practical classroom activities and resources to prepare students for the Reading & Writing module at CEFR A2 and B1 levels.

A unique benefit of Trinity’s ISE Reading & Writing exam is that it tests reading and writing skills through an integrated approach. The reading texts reflect the range of subjects a student may encounter in an educational or academic setting and the way that he or she needs to find, select and report relevant and appropriate information. The writing tasks reflect the kind of activities a student carries out in a school or college context, such as essay writing.

Preparing for the Trinity ISE exam also develops many of the academic skills and soft skills required to successfully pass the HKDSE. Students on an ISE programme can develop these important skills from a young age.

Participants will receive a CPD certificate and free ISE preparation course books (CEFR A2 and B1) at the end of the workshop.
