Teaching with Primary Sources at the Metropolitan State University of Denver in collaboration with History Colorado are proud to announce the 13th annual Teacher Librarian Day on Friday, February 24th, 2017.
Our theme for this year is Inspire Critical Thinking. Discussions will be focused around the importance of inspiring students to think critically across the curriculum, including civics, literacy, global understanding, science, social media, history, and social studies. How can we as educators influence students to actively engage with the world around them? How can we work together as educators-in-arms to think deeply and constructively about global issues? Inspire, influence, and engage at TLD 2017.
How do you inspire critical thinking?
We will be offering an optional .5 hours of graduate credit through Adams State University. Details to follow.
In addition, we are able to reimburse the first 100 teachers for sub fees.
