11.30 - 1 Whole Group Roundtable Discussion: Perspectives on Teaching About Gender and Sexuality Diversity with Pre-service Teachers
Participants will have an opportunity to share perspectives in an open discussion guided by the questions: What are your perspectives on teaching about gender and sexuality diversity with pre-service teachers?
Prompts: challenges faced; concerns and questions; influential/inspiring concepts, theories and ideas; opportunities for change and development; feedback from students….

1.45 – 3.30 Workshop: Sharing and Developing Pedagogies for Teaching About Gender and Sexuality Diversity with Pre-Service Teachers
Participants will have an opportunity to work together in small groups to share ideas and develop pedagogies for teaching about gender and sexuality with pre-service teachers.
Participants are encouraged to bring along any resources to talk through current practice and/or resources that might serve as starting points for developing pedagogies for teaching about gender and sexuality (For example video-clips, websites, academic papers, narratives, vignettes, case studies, poetry, music, blogs, articles, theories/concepts/ideas, debate titles, recorded talks/presentations).
