Description

The Center for the Art and Science of Teaching is hosting a unique opportunity to engage in conversation and dialogue with critically acclaimed Dr. Joel Westheimer and a small group of invited guests over lunch.

Joel Westheimer is University Research Chair in Democracy and Education at the University of Ottawa. He is co-founder and executive director of Democratic Dialogue, a research collaborative dedicated to the critical exploration of democratic ideals in education and society. Westheimer is widely published, addresses radio and television audiences on shows including Good Morning America, C-Span, NPR, and CBC radio, and is the education columnist for CBC Radio's Ottawa Morning and Ontario Today shows.

To assure this opportunity for conversation and dialogue with Dr. Westheimer, the event is limited to 25 invited guests.
