Teach Us to Pray Healing Weekend Event

Join us for a journey through healing event led by special guest Rev. Peg Hutchins, Director of Spiritual Formation at Asbury Theological Seminary and leader of the Asbury Healing Academy.
With over 30 years of healing ministry experience, Peg offers training and experience in the gentle way of healing. She is a spiritual director and recently retired from the United Methodist Church after 30 years of clergy service. Peg is the Director of Community Formation at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky where she developed and leads the Asbury Healing Academy, a practicum experience for seminary students seeking to learn about healing prayer ministry.
Saturday, March 25th
- 8:30am Opening Worship
- 9am Session 1 - The Distorted Image of God & Healing the Human Spirit
- 10:30am Break
- 10:45am Session 2 - Healing of Emotions & Practicing Forgiveness
- 12:15pm Lunch (provided)
- 1:30pm Session 3 - Listen, Love, & Pray (Opportunities to Recieve Healing Prayer)
- 4pm Break for Dinner
- 7-8pm Healing Service
Sunday, March 26th
- 9:30am Questions & Response with Peg
- 10:45am Worship
How much does it cost?
The event is free and open to the public, however donations will be accepted and given as a love offering to Rev. Hutchins healing ministries in Wilmore, Ky.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
This event is appropriate for mature teens through adults.
What can I bring into the event?
A bible, pen, notebook or journal, an open heart, and an open mind
