Event description

Description

Please join OCA-Greater Houston, friends, family, and community partners on 2/21 in Meeting Room 2 at 6:15pm for Part V of our "Bridge" series as we dive into the intersectionality between the Asian American & Pacific Islander and African American communities.

We will dive into a history more shared between our communities than we may think or have learned, challenge our unconscious biases and stereotypes, and discuss actions, ways to ensure a more inclusive future between our communities.

The intent of TEA Talks is to discuss current and ongoing issues/topics that the AAPI community face and promote discussion that drive towards possible solutions to those issues. We want to make this as engaging as possible so we plan to format these Talks with interactive activities such as ice breakers, small group discussions, and socials!

Follow us on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) to keep up with all the action with #TEATalks!

Hope to see you there!
