Join our Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) facilitators as we teach foster and adoptive parents useful tools to bring hope and healing into their homes through skills of empowerment, connection and correction.
This group is intended for families with elementary aged children to learn together through planned activities. Come prepared to play and learn together.
- Crash-n-Bump – An obstacle course to meet sensory needs and practice regulation techniques.
- Nurture Group – Relational skills of giving and receiving care and negotiating needs are taught through playful interactions.
- Life Skills Group – Focus on identifying and regulating feelings in both daily life and in life transitions.
- Regulating Activity – We always end the night with a regulating activity to help families calm before they leave.
*We hope to provide childcare for babies but need advance notice to provide. Please notify us with 48 hour notice if you have a child less than 12 months needing care during this group.
