Description

Ma'ahwar means Teacher in paleo Hebrew, the Language of our forefathers. I started my journey in the Martial Arts in 1977 at the age of 16 living in Newark, New Jersey you had to know something everyone knew some type of karate. I'm started in Northern Shaolin King fu, under the Alan Lee system, and Ying Jow Pai. Under Edward Anderson. In 1982 recieved my black Sash under Edward Anderson Shaolin Circle. 1995 I started training in wu chun su. Under Shijo Bruce Jennings and received the rank of 3rd degree Black Sash, winning many tournament under the Black Dragon Association under Hanshi GJ Torres. I'm 1994 I moved to So Florida there was only one Kung fu school but I couldn't afford the classes, then I was told that at Sunland Pk, they taught karate, upon going to see a class, I met Kyoshi Larry Mabson of the USA Goju system, after some time training with him I joined the system under Mabson do Goju Kan. Member of USA Goju Organization and received a 1st degree from the system. I trained with that Organization for 17 years upon moving to Geogia in 2008 I found that Master Marlin Sims was here in Fayetteville. A top student of GrandMaster In yuk Suh of the Kuk Sool Won system. Master Sims took me in for 8 months, I trained with him everyday from morning to evening learning his method of Martial Science. Now at 53 I've founded my own system, the Assidean Gabar Kahan System. My 37 years experience in the martial Arts world, it's a hard and soft system of principles and concepts of fighting and of techniques. I am still with Master Sims to this day. Looking forward to working with our youth Shalawam
