Event description

Description

This is a celebration of migrating birds taking place at Tawas Point State Park and the surrounding area. Many neotropical warblers and other songbirds will be moving through the area along with large numbers of waterfowl, raptors and other types of birds.

Please visit http://ausablevalleyaudubon.org/ prior to registering to obtain detailed information on field trips and other offerings.

Due to an overwhelming response to our guided tours, we must limit registration to 4 tours per person. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we endeavor to make this a great adventure for all

Registration for the event is $15.00 per person and gives you access to 4 guided field trips of your choosing and all public presentations.. There is also an optional Saturday dinner which you can purchase for an additional $15.

NOTE: Tawas Point State Park is managed by the Michigan DNR and has a separate vehicle entrance fee. Passes available at the park ‘contact’ station or prior to your visit. Find the instructions by clicking here.

If a particular field trip is full that you would like to attend, please email elliotne@msu.edu to be added to a waitlist.
