Live Music Curated by Rough Trade!
Jack + Eliza | Suffused with the effortlessness of youth captured in ephemeral moments, Jack + Eliza have imagined a precise yet affably cool, warm and melodious sun-drenched pop sound.
Ben Fields | Ben Fields brings a style of introspective songwriting pioneered by artists like Nick Drake and Van Morrison back into the mainstream. A stylistic homogeny of Harry Nilsson, The Beatles, Curtis Mayfield, and Lowell George gives his most recent album Extraordinary Light a sound that defined an era.
Son Little | Son Little, is a box of bonbons filled with barbed wire. Over a deceptively slinky groove – shades of 70’s Marvin Gaye, Leon Ware – the singer croons, phrases emerging from the swelter, a lover’s plea. But the angular blues guitar lick over the top of the track is clue to a deeper, older invocation.
