The Taste of Georgetown showcases the spectacular cuisine of over thirty five of Georgetown's finest restaurants, highlighting Georgetown's culinary personalities and featured nearly fifty delectable dishes, as well as craft beer pairings, live music and family friendly entertainment.
This year the 21st Annual Taste of Georgetown will take place on Saturday, September 13, 2014, from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. This annual tasting event has become the premier, outdoor DC tasting event, and invites thousands of people to experience the flavors of Georgetown!
The Taste of Georgetown will continue to generate awareness and raises funds for the Georgetown Ministry Center, Georgetown’s homeless assistance center and has raised over $120,000 since 2004 for them. Additionally, the event’s campaign generates priceless exposure for Georgetown restaurants and Georgetown as a dining destination.

The Georgetown Business Improvement District (BID) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the accessibility, attractiveness and overall appeal of Georgetown. Established in 1999 by its property owners and merchants, the Georgetown BID has more than 1,000 members. The organization is located in the heart of Georgetown in Washington, D.C. and sets a standard of excellence in preserving historic charm while meeting contemporary needs. The Rosslyn Business Improvement District (BID) is a designated 17-block mixed-use, urban center in the heart of Rosslyn. Funded by a special tax paid by property owners within the BID boundaries, the Rosslyn BID provides services to enhance, grow and maintain the neighborhood through a public/private partnership with Arlington County.
